1. Who is Erin Hart?

I'm a business writer and editor with a business education and broad skill set that I put to work for entrepreneurs. My clients are my partners, and I take every opportunity to teach and coach as we work together. 2. What can Erin do for me?

I'll make you look like the professional you are. Geniuses don't always know how to convey their messages clearly, concisely, and consistently. If you get your message across in a way your target market understands, you will get the results you're looking for.

Most of my services fit into these categories:

  • Marketing and communications: content strategy, project management, email campaign execution and monitoring, development of marketing collateral (e.g., website content, flyers, brochures, email campaigns), brand development, website content
  • Writing and editing: writing, proofreading, copyediting, and developmental editing of any and all business content
  • Writing coaching: friendly comments and suggestions that help you find your voice and hone your style
But I also have a team of talented professionals who can provide graphic design services, instructional design services, administrative and bookkeeping services, and much more. I am the "Entrepreneur's Right Hand."

3. How do we get started?

After a free initial telephone or email consultation, I will create an estimate for services to be provided. For simpler projects, you will approve the estimate and work begins. For more complex projects, I will send a letter of agreement that includes fees, timelines, the scope of services, and progress milestones. 

Services can be provided via email, phone, text, Skype, Google Hangout, in person in the Denver metro area, or any combination thereof.

When you hire me, it's a work for hire completed by an independent contractor. You'll receive an electronic copy of the work product, and you have the right to modify it, reprint it, or use it however you like. I reserve the right to include the work in my portfolio unless you specifically request otherwise.

4. What are the fees for services?

The hourly fee is $75. The estimate for your project includes the hourly rate and the number of hours a project will take. Payment is due no later than 15 days after the invoice date, and longer projects are billed bimonthly. For larger projects or new clients, a retainer equal to 50% of the total project estimate is required.

5. What is the turnaround time?

Turnaround time depends on the nature of the project and other projects in the queue. I can often turn around quick writing or editing projects in 48 hours, so don't hesitate to contact me. I'll get back to you and let you know what's possible!
